Les boulangeries parisiennes
While walking in Paris and trying to take a break from all of my endless thoughts I would pass by quite often into these french delightfull bakeries. So hard to say no, the smell of fresh baked bread or croissants would always invite me to try out some of their delicatesse. If I could chose a second place to live it would definetly be inside a boulangerie!!
The list is quite extensive, but there are a few ones I would love to share with you
Let’s start with Chez Meunier … located in the 17th arr, very close to the Arch of Triumph, this bakery has one of the best French bread, bio of course. Our favorite: the Organic Grindstone Pie ! It is made of organic millstone flour, natural sourdough and Guérande salt… an old recipe that impress.
Bo&mie : this one has two locations in Paris – in the 2th and 3th arr. There is a whole team of elite bakers who do all the amazing creations that come out of the kitchen… For them, it is important to not use any unnatural additives or preservatives in the recipes… and the result are delicious and colourful treats that you will remember.
Our favorite : The fig bread and the merveilleux chocolat !
Now we move to the 11th arr where we found our happiness in Utopie bakery ! There are a lot of “boulangeries” in Paris but this one is definitely a different one … on this address you must be patient, there is always a queue. The taste of their French bread and pastries and the high-quality ingredients are well known in the town. They often say that this is the best address of the capital !
Our favorite : The cheesecake Goyave Passion…
The last one is maybe one of my favorites, as it is much more traditional and a good friend of mine recommended it. Located at Rive Gauche: La boulangerie des Invalides.
You can not go wrong with this one … everything is so full of flavor, after a long walk in the 7th arr. The choice will be difficult because a big selection of colorful sweets will be waiting for you !
Our favorite : an authentic cappuccino with a strawberry tart!
